Minister

Drue Lane comes to SugarTree Ridge from another small town, Felicity, Ohio. Drue was a longtime member of the Felicity Church of Christ, and Jesus used many influences from this growing church to motivate Drue into the ministry. Drue is a 1994 graduate of the Cincinnati Bible College, and has been in the ministry for 9 years. Drue's first experience was at Bailey's Chapel Christian Church in Owingsville (Peasticks"), Kentucky. Drue served there for over one year. Soon after, Drue took a preaching position a little closer to home, at Gardnersville Christian Church. This church, located in Grant County, Kentucky, has a history of famous preachers cutting their teeth in its pulpit, including the well regarded Wilke Winter. Drue preached there for three years. After a one year layoff, Drue began his ministry in the Ridge in January, 2000. Drue's wife Heather is currently a 6th grade teacher at Sardinia Elementary. Drue and Heather have one child, a five year old daughter, Makenna.
