The Leadership
Drue Lane, Minister,
Drue Lane has been serving in the Ridge
for six years. Drue is a two time graduate from the Cincinnati
Christian University, and has been in ministry since 1994. Drue and his
wife Heather have a six year old daughter, Makenna. They are also
currently God parents for a one year old little girl, Hayley
Elizabeth. Before coming to the Ridge, Drue served at the Gardnersville
Christian Church, in DeMossville, Kentucky. A native of nearby
Felicity, Ohio, Drue is familiar with both the joys and challenges of a
small country church. He would summarize the Ridge in this way: “Our
church is built upon an awesome God. My goal is to instill in the people
of The Ridge a genuine love and enthusiasm for Jesus Christ, that shows
in every area of their lives. When you visit the Ridge you will meet
people who love, care for, and support both God and each other” .
Heather , also came from a small town, Washington, Indiana. Heather
loves the simple country life, and is a collector of Longaberger
baskets. She is also a sixth grade teacher at Sardinia Middle School.
Heather and Drue met while both were attending Cincinnati Christian
University, and have been married for twelve years. Makenna has just
completed Kindergarten, and is looking forward to moving onto first
grade, and making even more friends. She loves to go to Kings Island,
and especially ride “Congo Falls”! Hayley Elizabeth has been a real
blessing to Drue,Heather and Makenna. She loves to “people watch” and
always seems to have a smile for everybody who needs one. With the face
of ministry changing, Drue had this to say about the future of the
Ridge: “We are little, but we are loud. God is doing some great things
in our church, and has opened many doors so that we can offer so many
opportunites to serve the Lord. We understand first and foremost that
people need to feel that their children are important. Youth are
priority number one in my book, and we will continue to expand and
improve on the many great things we already offer them. Our goal is to
raise up children who know Jesus Christ. We also offer a relevant
message from God’s Word each and every week, so that our adults can
indeed find better ways to live their lives. Life is not easy, but God’s
Word offers real help, and real answers, and we want to communicate that
as clearly as possible. Many people are hurting, and need a place that
they can be forgiven, accepted, and offered a second chance
through a relationship with Jesus Christ. My goal is to lead the church
in being proactive towards a changing world, rather than
reactive."

Superintendent
Chad McConnaughey is our Bible School
superintendent. He works hard in making sure that all materials are up
to date, and that our teachers have everything they need to succeed in
teaching our Bible School classes.
Jr Church Coordinator
Karie Emery has the important job of
organizing and planning our vital Jr Church Ministry. She is blessed
with great planning and organizational skills, and she works hard to make sure our youth ages 4-8 are provided
with a great chance to learn about the Lord.
Youth Committee
The Youth Committee meets on occasion
to plan out the many youth activities we have ongoing throughout the
year. They also assist in our yearly fundraisers, that provide the
resources to keep our program top notch.
